WISER sister study: (Women in Steady Exercise)



Wiser sister study..


Research shows that exercise reduces breast cancer risk. To this end the University of Pennsylvanias’ School of Medicine and Dr Kathryn Schmitz,PhD,MPH have designed a study for those at high risk, which will ultimately tell us just HOW MUCH exercise lowers risk.
The study called the “WISER Sister Study” (Women in Steady Exercize Research) . The “sister” indicating it is related to an earlier study based on the same premise.
Participants must be 18 years of age and premenopausal, and willing to follow a set exercise regimen for the duration of the study.
